Stand at Ireland’s most northern point and take in the amazing scenery of this wonderful and beautiful rugged coastline. An area that is thriving with birdlife, Malin Head holds significant historical importance in Ireland, although today it’s perhaps more well known for the scenery and activities that take place in the area.
The area is popular with activities including rock climbing, kayaking and dolphin watching, while the nearby Inistrahull Island is composed of the oldest rocks in Ireland, dating back some 1,778 billion years ago.
On a clear day you can see Scotland to the east, and on a clear night you might just be lucky enough to see the sky lit up by the stunning Aurora Borealis (better known as The Northern Lights).
